QuizNight

A proper pub quiz, in your living room.

Runs on your own computer and puts the questions on the telly. Everyone else plays on the phone in their pocket. No apps to install, no accounts, no internet required.

The Slow Reveal round — the longer you wait, the less it's worth.

Set up in about a minute

If you can open a web page, you can run the quiz.

1

Start it on your PC

Press one button. The big screen opens by itself — put it on the telly if you can.

2

Everyone scans the code

A QR code goes up on screen. Guests scan it, type a name, and they're in. No downloads.

3

Play

You pick the packs and press start. It runs the night, keeps score and takes the mickey.

It isn't just multiple choice

Ordinary questions get dull by round three, so the game mixes in party rounds that change what everyone's doing.

Slow Reveal

A picture uncovers block by block. Call it early and it's worth a fortune; wait until it's obvious and it's worth almost nothing.

Lie Detector

Everyone invents a plausible lie. Then you all try to spot the real answer among your friends' nonsense.

Horse Race, Draw It, Hot Potato and more

Bet your points, draw the prompt, pass the bomb. Or sit a round out and keep what you've got.

Why it runs on your machine

Most quiz apps live in someone else's cloud. This one doesn't, and that turns out to matter on the night.

Works on rubbish wifi

Everything happens on your own network. If your broadband drops mid-round, the quiz carries on.

Nobody makes an account

No sign-ups, no email addresses, no data collected about your guests. They scan a code and play.

Buy it once

No subscription. Packs you buy are yours, and updates to them are free.

Your own content

Build your own packs with the included editor — questions, pictures, even your own sound effects.

Someone always wins. Loudly.

Scores, streaks, a season leaderboard across games, and a highlight reel that remembers exactly who guessed the picture at nine per cent.

The final scoreboard with the winner celebrated on the big screen

Try it, then buy a pack

Four complete games free — enough for a real quiz night before you decide. When you're ready, one purchase unlocks the game and a pack together.

Questions people ask

Do my guests need to install anything?

No. They scan the QR code and play in their phone's browser. iPhone, Android, a laptop, whatever they've got.

Does it need the internet?

Not to play. Everything runs across your own wifi. You'll only need a connection to buy or download packs.

How many people can play?

Comfortably a living room full. It's built for LAN parties and family gatherings rather than a stadium.

Can I make my own questions?

Yes — a pack editor is included. Write questions, add pictures for the Slow Reveal round, and drop the file in. No restart needed.

Is it suitable for children?

There's a kids' pack written for 10–11 year olds, and an age gate that hides adult content whenever a younger player joins.

What do I actually get for £9.99?

QuizNight unlocked permanently, plus one add-on pack of your choosing, on up to three devices. There's nothing else to pay.
